Ali Miremadi (b. 1983) is a UK-based visual artist and photographer whose practice explores the relationship between image, identity, and visual culture. Working across fine art and photographic practice, his work combines conceptual inquiry with technical precision.
He holds a Master’s degree in Photography from Birkbeck, University of London, and is a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) and an AFIAP artist of the International Federation of Photographic Art. His work has been exhibited internationally in more than fifty exhibitions and festivals and has received several international photography awards.
Alongside his artistic practice, his research focuses on photographic history and visual representation, particularly nineteenth-century Iranian photography.
